Be safe please
These are reckless drivers as they are slowing down to watch the fire and even recording footage while driving (“Facebook video: Fire off Shaikh Zayed Road in Dubai”, Gulf News, June 27)! This causes both traffic congestion and is a danger to others!

Don’t accept such videos
This is not professionalism on the part of Gulf News. Buy a chopper or stop recording while driving... don’t break rules for breaking news.

Gulf News has always been a strong advocate of driving safety and would never encourage violation of any rules. With reference to traffic photographs, we do not accept pictures taken by the driver of a vehicle, unless it is very clear that he/she was in a stationary automobile and safe, without violating any traffic rules. We do accept pictures taken by a passenger in a vehicle, as that does not impede driving safety.
