Priyanka Chopra is in a celebratory mood after receiving rave reviews for her performances in Fashion and Dostana, but amidst all the fanfare and her hectic schedule, the stunner takes time off to share her thoughts in an interview.
Two back-to-back hits. What are your feelings after Dostana?
Dostana has had a fantastic opening. I am overjoyed by its success. It's all happening so fast I don't know how to react.
Is it true that John and Abhishek played pranks on the sets of Dostana?
I cannot talk about the pranks but it was a lot of fun. We got along well and you can see the chemistry on screen.
What's Abhishek like to work with?
Off screen he's really a fun guy. But when the cameras start to roll, it doesn't take him time to transform into his character and he does it effortlessly.
Why do you say you have looked your best in Dostana?
Because it's the closest to what I look like in real life – my dress, my talk and the way I walk. In fact, that was the brief given to me by the director – just be yourself.
Shilpa Shetty's sexy song in Dostana is most talked about. What do you have to say?
Shilpa is simply fabulous. I think she's perfect for the song.
Would you say your performance in Fashion was the best?
Fashion was an intense movie and I gave it my all. I mature as an actor and try to improve with each movie.
Who are your best buddies?
I have a lot of friends in and outside the industry, but I can't name them.
You experiment a lot with your looks in your movies. How do you manage that?
I try to look different in every film. Every time I've experimented, it has worked well.
Are you doing a film with Akshay Kumar? We heard you get along very well with his wife Twinkle
Not yet and as for Twinkle, I don't know her so well.
Will you be singing in any of your movies?
That's something I have wanted to do for quite some time but I really haven't had a chance. I hope I will receive an offer to sing in my future movies.
Who do you think has the best body in Tinseltown?
There are lots of people who have fab bodies in Bollywood today. These days, it's extremely important to have a good body.
