DUBAI: Can you imagine yourself inside an actual bubble? Or anything else, even an elephant, you might fancy? And it doesn’t have to be a spherical bubble – it can be in different shapes, including triangles, squares, rectangles and what have you.

Well, you can experience all this and more right here in Dubai as it hosts the first spectacular 3D bubble show, ‘Arabian Bubble Celebration’, at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 19-21.

Spellbinding

Performed by artists Melody and Deni Yang of the well-known Yang family from New York, the 70-minute show is expected to hold audiences spellbound as it combines bubbles, laser and 3D to create an unparalleled effect.

Vinoo Ramchandran of Vibgyor Events, which is organising the shows, said: “Melody and Deni Yang are born to the well-known Yang family. Their parents Ana and Fan Yang have been performing for years. They were street performers travelling across Europe performing juggling, magic, bubbles and even martial arts acts since the 1980s. Today, they hold 18 Guinness World Records and have created everything from a bubble with an elephant to a bubble with 128 people inside.”

He said what makes their shows different is that they engage the audiences who even get a chance to come up on stage and be inside a bubble.

The shows featuring silver, gold and 3D cosmic lasers will revolve around different themes. Ramchandran said, “There will be around 12 shows across the three days. The first show runs with the theme ‘Mom and Me’. The performers are Masters of Soap Bubbles from the globally acclaimed Gazillion Bubble Show who will offer a unique entertainment experience by creating incredible shapes and bubble fun, with laser shows and stunts. Kids can touch the bubbles, hop on stage and even go inside a bubble — it’s a show they will adore.”
