Sharjah: UAE captain Rohan Mustafa has shown the way for domestic cricketers through a sparkling century in the One Stop Tourism 43rd Bukhatir Premier League organised by Sharjah Cricket Council. Playing for One Stop Tourism, Mustafa cracked an unbeaten 118 runs from 130 balls with nine boundaries and two sixes to extend the winning streak of his team.

One Stop Tourism beat Fly Emirates by 124 runs. In the same tournament, other members of the UAE team like Laxman Sreekumar and Shaiman Anwar too cracked centuries for Sharjah Cricket Club.

Mustafa enjoys playing match-winning knocks and plays in the Umm Al Quwain tournaments too.

Mustafa, after his two half centuries in Umm Al Quwain, told Gulf News: “I scored two half centuries in (the) quarter-final as well as (the) semi-final in Umm Al Quwain. Whenever I go out to play, I play with my heart and I play to win wherever I play.” Earlier this month in the third One Day International match against Papua New Guinea, he hit a century and produced a five wicket haul at the Shaikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

In the Dubai Cricket Council’s Weekend Slammer, Nikhil Srinivasan stole the thunder with brilliant all-round performances.

In the first match for Farooq Cricket Club against The Warriors he hit an aggressive 64 with five sixes and five boundaries and also bagged two wickets to ensure his team an eight-wicket win. In the second match against Friends Cricket Club he produced a fine spell of four wickets for 16 runs to ensure his team a 20 runs victory.
