Al Ain: Waqas Zareef of Kashmir Cricket Club produced a spectacular spell by bagging five wickets for six runs in the space of just 1.4 overs to inspire a big victory over Enigma Club in the Al Ain Floodlit T20 tournament at Al Ain Sportplex.

Kashmir CC won by an impressive 137 runs after Enigma Club were bowled out for only 96. Earlier, Kashmir posted a total of 233 through Yousaf Khan’s knock of 86 and Sajid Aziz’s 45. Khan took only 38 balls to score his 86, with six sixes and four boundaries, while Aziz’s 45 came off 20 balls with the help of nine boundaries and a six.

Meanwhile, Hafeez-ur-Rehman of Al Faraa produced another stunning bowling spell by taking seven wickets for 12 runs to bowl out Belgium CC for a meagre 26. Al Faraa won by nine wickets.

In Dubai, the Insportz Amateurs One-Day Indoor Cricket Tournament will be held at Insportz, Al Quoz, on August 14.

The tournament guarantees a minimum of three matches per team. Each team will be charged a registration fee of Dh1,000, with the winners walking away with a trophy and Dh3,000, while the runners-up will get Dh1,500.
