Sharjah: Ghulam Shabbir Malik scored an unbeaten half century to extend One Stop Tourism victory run in the One Stop Tourism 43rd Bukhatir Premier League.
They recorded their second victory against ANIB XI on Top which has been impressive in many recent tournaments.
After electing to bat first, ANIB XI on Top were rocked early on with three wickets falling in quick succession, including two batsmen departing for no score.
In form Mahesh Shetty and Basil Hameed shared 46-run partnership for the fourth wicket that slightly put ANIB XI on Top back on track. But Basil Hameed fell on 14 and Mahesh Shetty too perished after hitting a 63-ball 56 runs made with 10 boundaries.
A late seventh-wicket partnership between Hariprasad Poojary (36) and Ahsan Shehzad (35n.o) ensured ANIB XI on Top post 172 in 42.2 overs.
For One Stop Tourism, Muhammad Azhar, Ali Afzal, Adil Mirza and Tahir Lateef all claimed two wickets each.
Chasing the target, Saif Janjua scored 39-ball 34 consisting of three boundaries before Ghulam Shabbir Malik powered to an unbeaten 54 from 51 deliveries supported by six boundaries and a six while Muhammad Usman chipped in with 22 as One Stop Tourism overhauled the target in just 31.4 overs.
UAE pacer Zahoor Khan claimed three wickets for ANIB XI On Top but his effort went in vain.
