It was another splendid show by the Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS) swimmers in the Inter school swimming gala, organised by the Millennium School.

If on the first day it were the girls who bagged the overall championship, then on the second day ADIS' boys performed brilliantly to amass 227 points and emerge the winners.

So spectacular was the performance of the ADIS' boys that Jumeirah College, which finished second, could muster only 58 points. The Dubai American Academy clinched the third place with 55 points.

Among the star performers were Carlyn Joseph Lobo of St. Mary's, Dubai. He bagged two gold medals and one silver in the Under-19 category. Mayank Gaur of ADIS too did equally well to bag two individual golds in the same category to pick 13 points.

It was also a clean sweep by the ADIS swimmers in almost all categories.

ADIS' Ajan S. Kumar won a bronze, silver and a gold in the under-16 event with 14 points while Shameek Aggarwal, also from the same school, walked away with four gold medals in the Under-14 event to pick 20 points.
