Dubai: The UAE's Sea Dubai Team is lurking in joint fourth and within striking distance of the top spot in the race for the RC 44 Championship Tour 2010.

The fourth round of the six-race series gets under way in Valencia at the end of July and the Sea Dubai Team can be assured of a fair shot when the race takes off on July 27. When entries closed for the round earlier this week there were eleven confirmations including Vincenzo Onorato's Mascalzone Latino.

The RC 44 Valencia Cup will be the fourth event of the Championship Tour 2010 and it will most probably coincide with the return of summer sailing conditions following an interesting first three events this year.

Now in its fourth year, the RC 44 Tour for 2010 started in February in Dubai in superb yet challenging conditions. From then on it progressed under the snow-capped mountains that surround the Austrian Lake Traunsee, before last month's strong breeze in Copenhagen.

In the overall standings, it is Pieter Heerema and Ray Davies guiding No Way Back into top position, closely followed by the Russell Coutts and Larry Ellison combination in BMW Oracle Racing Team.

Torbjorn Tornqvist and Terry Hutchinson have been in good form in Artemis as they stayed tied for fourth with Harm Muller Spreer and Markus Wieser in Sea Dubai.

Igor Lah and Rod Davis's Ceeref, Guennadi Timtchenko and Paul Cayard's Katusha and René Mangold and Christian Binder's Team Austria 17 are tied for sixth overall.
