Dubai: Terry Hutchinson and Adam Minoprio are among the latest additions to a top-class field for the fourth edition of the RC 44 Championship Tour that is scheduled to begin in Dubai with the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy from February 22 to 27.

The calendar for the 2010 season was announced earlier this week along with updated rules for the fourth edition of this annual event.

Organised by the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy will be the season opener with the annual regatta reassembling nine out of the ten RC 44's who competed in last year's Gold Cup.

Among the favourites will be Pieter Heerema and Ray Davies in Team No Way Back who took the title during the Gold Cup 2009.

Terry Hutchinson will be joining the RC 44 Class for the first time on board Artemis, where he will be under pressure to replicate, if not match, the brilliant results obtained by Dean Barker last year with this team. Larry Ellison and Russell Coutts, who are competing in the ongoing America's Cup in Valencia, will be replaced by Mike Perris as the fleet race helmsman and Adam Minoprio as the match race helmsman.
