UAE cyclists set to pedal around Asia's best jewels
Nearly 30 cyclists from the UAE are set to leave for their annual overseas cycling trip to Bangkok later this year.
Dubai: Nearly 30 cyclists from the UAE are set to leave for their annual overseas cycling trip to Bangkok later this year.
The ten-day trip to Thailand and Cambodia is being organised by Wolfi Hohmann of Wolfi's Bike Shop.
The participants will leave for Bangkok from Dubai on October 24.
This year's tour will take in Khao Yai, Thailand's oldest national park, the world heritage site at Angkor Wat and Pattaya.
The tour has been planned as such that all participants get adequate time with their sight-seeing and cycling.
The tour package includes an economy class air ticket on the Dubai - Bangkok sector, accommodation on a twin sharing basis, daily meals, support vehicles and mechanic support during the rides.
The ride on the seventh day from the Chao Lao Beach to Pattaya will be the longest at 200 kms.
This year's tour will take in Khao Yai...the world heritage site at Angkor Wat and Pattaya.
