Shaikh Rashid chosen as Chairman of National Olympic Committee
The General Assembly of Sports Association selected Shaikh Rashid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum as Chairman of the National Olympic Committee for the new term 2008-2012.

Dubai: The General Assembly of Sports Association selected Shaikh Rashid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum as Chairman of the National Olympic Committee for the new term 2008-2012.
This came during the general assembly meeting held in Dubai, yesterday. During the meeting, members of the Olympic committee were also elected.
