Al Ain: Sharjah Chess Club's Salem Abdul Rahman won the President's Cup Chess, organised by Al Ain Culture and Chess Club with a score of 8.5 points. Omar No'man (6.5) was second and Ebrahim Khouri and Jasem Al Hawar (6) third.
Meanwhile, jijitsu and judo have been officially added to the activities of Al Dhafra Club.
This is as a result of the support and backing of General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sport Council, for the two sports.
