Beijing: Usain Bolt smashed the world record in the 200m final on Wednesday to take the gold at the Beijing Olympics.
Bolt left his competitors far behind as he roared through the track finishing in 19.30 seconds.
He now boasts the coveted position of winning both the 100m and 200m gold medal at the Olympic Games, as well as holding the title of fastest man in the world.
Churandy Martina of Netherlands Antilles won the silver and Wallace Spearmon of the United States the bronze.
