Jaden Schwartz opened the scoring 6:23 in, finishing a 2-on-1 short-handed opportunity.

Ryan Miller lost for the second time as a member of the Blues since being traded from Buffalo on February 28.

Elsewhere, James Neal’s power-play goal 1:27 into overtime lifted Pittsburgh to a wild victory over Tampa Bay. Neal’s slap shot over Anders Lindback’s right shoulder capped a frantic final 15 minutes of play as the teams traded the lead three times.
