Rome: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, issued a statement on Thursday welcoming participants in a shooting championship organised by Fazza, which will take place on Friday at the Umbriaverde Sporting Resort, Italy.
“It is with great joy today that we witness UAE shooters come together with their international counterparts in the first edition of the Fazza Italian Green Cup, one of the biggest shooting championships that was organised as a result of the fruitful cooperation between Fazza team and the Italian Shooting Federation,” said Shaikh Hamdan.
Expressing his wishes for the success of the tournament, Shaikh Hamdan said that choosing Italy as the venue for the championship reflected the strength of relations between the UAE and Italy, which continue to develop with every passing year.
The championship will witness the participation of 337 shooters from more than 29 countries, with the UAE, Lebanon, Kuwait and Bahrain representing the Arab world.
