Dubai: As the equine industry in the UAE enters its busiest period with a jam-packed calendar of world class horse racing, international show jumping and high profile polo tournaments, the one event that draws thousands of visitors every year from all walks of horse-related life is the annual Dubai International Horse Fair.
Taking place from March 17-19, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event showcases the widest range of international equine products, services, equipment and technology for horse owners, breeders and equine professionals in the Middle East.
Held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, the Dubai International Horse Fair has developed into a core international event, supporting a thriving equine industry in the UAE and wider Middle East, including the Dubai World Cup which is held just after the exhibition.
Fashion show
Now in its seventh year, this year's show incorporates almost everything pertaining to horses and the equine industry, from supplier presentations and demonstrations, riding classes, pony rides, a fashion show for horse and rider and an equestrian art exhibition.
