Dubai: Over 650 cyclists have registered for the penultimate build-up ride to the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge this weekend, ahead of the main event on December 12.

The third preparatory ride will take place this Friday on a 65km course at the Dubai Cycling Track in Al Qudra, ahead a fourth and final 85km ride at the same location on November 28.

Numbers have grown with each build-up ride, as have distances, to prepare cyclists for the final 92km test. This year more than 2,000 participants of all ages and abilities are expected to enter the main event – four times more than took part when the event was launched in 2010.
