Al Shamsi to head delegation

Dubai: The Championships Director Obaid Al Shamsi will head a four-member delegation to Uruguay.

Al Shamsi will be accompanied by Dr Khalid Al Zahid, Rashid Al Kamali and Lynn Bates at the Water Games Forum to be held in Uruguay from September 26-29.

Following a meeting of the Higher Organising Committee (HOC) chaired by Mattar Al Tayer earlier this week, it was decided to send the delegation to boost the status of the 10th Fina World Swimming Championships to be held at the state-of-the-art Dubai Sports Complex from December 15-19.
