Al Kumaiti brothers help UAE sweep top five places
The Al Kumaiti brothers helped the UAE riders start the Abu Dhabi International Show Jumping Championship with a clean sweep of the top five places in the opening competition - the International Senior event at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club on Thursday.

Abu Dhabi: The Al Kumaiti brothers helped the UAE riders start the Abu Dhabi International Show Jumping Championship with a clean sweep of the top five places in the opening competition - the International Senior event at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club on Thursday.
Mohammad Abdullah Al Kumaiti and his younger brother Ali came first and second in the opening event, a competition Against the Clock for seniors with 67 riders in the fray.
Riding Isiane, Mohammad Al Kumaiti finished with a clear round in 61.48 seconds to pocket the first prize of Dh 7,500. Ali was a close second on Al Mutamaken while Shaikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan was third.
Abdullah Ali Al Sheibi and Khalid Al Juneibi completed a clean sweep in the event with the fourth and fifth places.
In the Dh40,000 Special Two Phases International event for Seniors, Italian Andre Sakakini partnered Miss Corland to a smart win.
Sakakini completed the round in 29.4 seconds with Saudi Prince Abdullah Bin Muteab Bin Abdullah on Saudi Arabia finishing second. The UAE took bronze with Mohammad Bin Ghanem Al Marri riding Shakira to a third place.
