Dubai: Established in 1988, Errea is a simple combination of the names of founder Angelo Gandolfi’s two children – Roberto and Analisa.
“My aim in setting up a company was to have some sort of legacy that I could pass to them. Today, my entire family is involved in this business in some way, and technically speaking the 1,000-odd employees we have at Errea are an extension of my family,” Gandolfi told Gulf News.
His wife Rosanna is involved and his son Roberto and daughter Ana Lisa are also employed along with their respective spouses.
“We may be a family business but we have survived and cut our own share in the market against the bigger companies. This is simply because at Errea we believe in the individual. We have taken 26 years to be here and we are confident we will have a much bigger market in the next few years,” Gandolfi promised.
