The twenty first day of the Enoc Open snooker championship saw another clinical display from UAE's number two ranked player Mohammad Mustafa Shehab.

In action against Dubai Snooker Club's Abdul Aziz Al Rais, Shehab made short work of his last sixteen tie.

Shehab was the first man of the evening to finish after an hours work that allowed his opponent a meagre eighty six points throughout his four losing frames.

An Egyptian on top of his game was knocked off his perch at the hands of comeback king and Gulf Singles champion Eisa Sayyid.

Trailing 3-1 after a disappointing black ball loss in frame four, Al Sayyid knuckled down to the type of resolve he is renowned for. Plucking away at chances until developing small leads, Al Sayyid's strategy worked well to take him to 3-3 with winning margins of thirty and then thirty five points.

Taking control of his third consecutive frame in similar fashion, Al Sayyid went five points better by taking advantage of the nerves Housani was now feeling.

Al Sayyid won the deciding frame by a comfortable forty point margin to book his quarter final against UAE number one Mohammad Al Joker.

Humaid Al Darmaki beat Mohammad Rizwan Khan. Salim Ali Salim completed the quarterfinal line up as he overcame Eisa Al Hindi 4-1 with some crisp long potting and positional play.

Results: Eisa Sayyid 4 Hani Housani 3; Humaid Al Darmaki 4 Rizwan Khan 2; Salim Ali Salim 4 Eisa Al Hindi 1; Mohammad Shehab 4 Abdul Aziz Al Rais 0.
