Dubai: Rosy Blue, one of the world's largest diamond manufacturing company and a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of fine diamonds and jewellery, announced $80,000 key sponsorship of the UAE national snooker team for the next one year giving a major boost to the sport in the country.
The sponsorship deal will cover all the team expenses for the year.
"We have always been associated with sports and I am very happy that we have been invited to sponsor the UAE National snooker team," said Mr Harshad Mehta, Chairman of Rosy blue.
"The main reason for the association is to promote and encourage young players from the UAE to excel in global sports.
"We have sponsored cricket at grass-roots level and we are now proud to do the same with the UAE snooker team," he added.
Rosy Blue has contributed nearly $3 million to support various sport activities in 156 different countries.
