Al Ain: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the team leader who received the gold medal for the International Endurance Race Championship that was held recently in the state of Kentucky in the United States.
Shaikh Khalifa also received the gold medal winning team members in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, at the Al Ain Rawdah Palace.
The UAE team headed by Shaikh Mohammad that participated in the 160km endurance event at the World Equestrian Games included Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture, and Shaikh Rashid Bin Dalmook, and Ali Al Muhairi.

Shaikh Khalifa expressed his great pride and pleasure at the level the UAE has attained in sports, citing the national team's regional and international achievements. He pledged support to the sports to sustain and score more victories, lauding the role of Emiratis in shouldering responsibilities in all fields.
The UAE President greeted Shaikh Mohammad for leading the UAE team to winning the gold medal in the grand international championship.
For his part, Shaikh Mohammad thanked Shaikh Khalifa for his compliment, indicating that the achievement will be added to the UAE achievements under the wise leadership of Shaikh Khalifa.
