The Second Central Inter-school volleyball tournament for juniors (Boys) will commence from today at the floodlit courts of the Central School in Dubai.
This tournament is being held in connection with the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of New Indian Model School Group of Schools.
A total of eight teams from different schools in the UAE have confirmed their participation in the tournament.
The participating schools are: Global English School, Al Ain (GES, Al Ain); New Indian Model School, Dubai (A team) (NIMS, Dubai); Our Own English High School, Sharjah (OOEHS, Sharjah), New Indian Model School, Al Ain, NIMS, Al Ain), Sharjah Indian School (SIS); New Indian Model School, Dubai(B); New Indian Model School, Sharjah and Central School, Dubai.
The tournament will be conducted on a league and knock out basis and and the win will be held on May 9.
Apart from the Rolling Trophy for the winner and runners up team, there will be individual prizes and special prizes for the best spiker, best booster and the most promising players of the tournament.
