Dubai: Bahrain's Twina Bora won the ladies singles title at the India Club badminton tournament when she beat Fujairah's Agna Anto 21-14, 21-13.
The final was played under the new World Badminton Council 21-point scoring format.
Bora represented the Indian Club, Bahrain, while Anto was from the Indian Social Centre, Fujairah.
However, Anto claimed a consolation win when she beat Rachel Dixon in the Under-18 final. She won 21-3, 21-9.
In the Under-10 final Prachi Praveen Shetty beat Sanjana Venkatesh 21-10, 21-11, while in the Under-12 Years final Indian Club member Mallika Bhatia overcame fellow club player Mugdha Gupta 21-7, 22-24, 21-17.
The Girls Under-14 Years Singles was won by Abu Dhabi's Anjali Anil Shenoy who beat India Club's Oeindrila Das 21-11, 17-21, 21-4
Rehana Abdul Latif and Twina Bora, both from the Indian Club, Bahrain won the ladies doubles beating Dhanya Mathew and Agna Anto 22-20, 25-23
Shubha Singh presented the singles trophy.
