Dubai: Hala Belselah was the toast of MK Fencing Academy when she clinched gold in the Epee class for women in the UAE Fencing Federation Open Championships held in Al Ain earlier this week.
Belselah finished ahead of Rita Tornallyay and Csilla Tornallyay to complete a clean sweep for MK Fencing Academy at the annual competition.
The other winners from MK Fencing Academy included Yasser Al Darawani, who took the silver medal in the Epee Open for men as the academy from Dubai finished with one gold, two silvers and a bronze.
The UAE Federation Fencing Open Championships was the first competition to kick-start the new season.
