Abu Dhabi: Brave Combat Federation, the Middle East’s premier MMA Fighting Championship, is heading to the UAE capital for the first time with an action packed 13-fight card. Brave 4 takes place on Friday at the IPIC Arena, Zayed Sports City. Entrance to the event will be complimentary to all fans.

Brave 4 is headlined by Mexican featherweight Masio ‘Lobo’ Fullen (11-6, 4 KOs) and French featherweight Elias Boudegzdame (13-4, 2 KOs) squaring off for the Brave featherweight title.

“I’m excited and cannot wait to go to Abu Dhabi. It is an honour to fight in Abu Dhabi and I guarantee an outstanding performance for all the MMA fans over there in the Middle East,” said Fullen.

“Brave 4 brings together the best of the Middle Eastern MMA fighters along with the best fighters from Europe, Brazil and Asia. The top Middle Eastern fighters will all be on show and will be looking to prove that they belong in the upper echelons of MMA globally,” Mohammad Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation.

UFC superstar and Women MMA No. 1 fighter Cris Cyborg, who is the ambassador for Brave 4, will be present. The fans will also have the opportunity for a meet and greet session with Cyborg on March 30 at 8pm at the IPIC Arena.

“I’m excited to be heading to Abu Dhabi next week to attend Brave 4 as an ambassador of the event. I’m looking forward to meeting all of my fans living in the GCC and I hope everyone can attend the event,” said Cyborg.

In the co-headline bout, heavy-handed Brazilian Marcus Vinicius Cruz (8-1, 5 KO) will face Lebanese sensation Mohammad Fakhreddine (8-1, 5 KO).

The card features three former UFC fighters, the No. 1 ranked featherweight in France, the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked welterweights in the Middle East, Anderson Silva’s sparring partner, the biggest MMA star in Germany Ottman Azaitar, Brazilian jiu-jitsu Legend Fabiano Silva, and four fighters from John Kavanagh’s SBG gym (UFC super star Conor McGregor’s head trainer), Italy’s No. 1 welterweight — and much more.

“I’m very excited, looking forward to see you all at Brave 4 Abu Dhabi and bringing over four of my top fighters. So please come along, enjoy the event, enjoy the fights,” said Kavanagh.
