Saeed Abdullah Al Baloch won the amateur shooting event in the Armed Forces Officers Club’s Ramadan Games here on Sunday night.

Saeed tallied a total of 259 points to finish ahead of Abdul Hameed Abdul who finished with 230 points.

Saeed Matar Al Shamsi (229), Ahmad Sulaiman Al Rasheedi (229) and Yaqoob Hamad Al Hussain (221) completed the top five pack in the shooting event.

Al Ain Youth Team and Amiri Guards carved out facile wins in the football event on a night when six other matches were also played.Al Ain Youth defeated Adco 3-0 while Amiri Guards 7-0.

Marwan Al Haji and Mohammad Anas opened their campaign in snooker with identical 3-0 wins over their rivals.

Al Haji beat Abdul Rahman, while Mohammad Anas outclassed Abdullah Sweidan.

Apart from football, snooker and shooting, the AFOC Ramadan Games also include bowling.

The games are being held at the Armed Forces Officers Club premises and entry is free for all spectators.

A daily free raffle draw is being held on the occasion with over Dh10,000 in prizes up for grabs every night.
