Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), announced on Wednesday that it has awarded each player in the UAE National football team, who won the Gulf Cup in Bahrain earlier this month, with a first-class ticket to any destination in the world on Etihad Airways.
A spokesman for the bank said: “Due to the recent 2-1 victory of the UAE national team over Iraq in the Gulf Cup of Nations 2013, hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain, each UAE national team player and the coach captain Mahdi Ali will be granted 250,000 Etihad air miles, which will allow them to fly first class to any destination in the world on Etihad Airways.”
In 2010, ADIB became the official bank of the UAE Pro-League Committee (PLC). In line with this partnership, it launched the first Football Fan Visa Card in the UAE, developed in collaboration with the PLC to offer football fans in the UAE the opportunity to express their passion for football and win a bonanza of football-related experiences.
