Raymond has written his name into the history books as the Netherlands’ most successful player during over two decades at the top level, which has included five World Championship victories with his triumphs in both the BDO and PDC since 1998.
The Dutch legend joined the PDC circuit in 2006, winning the first of two successive UK Open titles that year and added victories since in the likes of the Premier League and Grand Slam of Darts to cement his status amongst the sport’s greats.
The ever-popular star has also landed five televised nine-dart checkouts, including two each in the World Championship and Premier League.
The runner-up to Michael van Gerwen in the inaugural Dubai Masters, Van Barneveld reached his second World Series of Darts final at the Auckland Masters last year, where he was edged out 11-10 by Adrian Lewis.
