Dubai: The excitement of Las Vegas, the thrill of world championship fighters and probably the biggest fight in the history of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) all rolled into one is what promoter Vincent Cui is promising fight fans in the UAE on Friday night.

Cui, the CEO of One Fighting Championship (One FC), is staging the ‘Reign of Champions’ at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). And the Canadian promoter is promising nothing less than a combination of all elements that make up a great fight night.

“By far this is the biggest fight card we have ever put up. We have some of the biggest names in MMA in Dubai. So fans here can expect the excitement of Las Vegas and the thrill of world champions coming together for one of the biggest fights in MMA history,” Cui said.

“The plan behind this is simple: This is the first time MMA is in town and we want to make the best impression on the fans here. We need to give people a feel of what One FC and MMA is all about,” he added.

Friday’s fight card will be telecast live to a global audience of one billion people from more than 70 countries. “The time zone in Dubai also helps us reach out to a much bigger audience other than just Asia. Dubai works just well for us and our sport,” Cui said.
