Floyd Mayweather went for a cruise around the Dubai coast on a luxury yacht on Wednesday, before spending some time on the snow at Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates.

You could hardly accuse the American boxer of wasting his holiday time in the UAE.

Camels and kandoras in the desert, the Burj Khalifa, shopping at Dubai Mall, a boat ride and Ski Dubai – it reads like a generic itinerary put together by a lazy tour guide.

When you add in the $1.1 million Hublot watch, the entourage of 24 all staying in the Armani hotel and the luxury chartered yacht, it becomes clear that Mayweather is no ordinary holiday maker.

Wednesday was the fourth day of the 38-year-old boxing champion’s unannounced trip to these shores, and he has certainly made the most of it.

After 49 unbeaten fights and a personal fortune of $400 million, he’s probably earned the right to take some down time.

And judging by the list of countries he has been to in the last two weeks, he has the energy to keep on moving.

He wrote on Instagram: “A light day on the yacht listening to some old school #ShirleyMurdock thinking about which country I should go to next on #AirMayweather.

“I've been to a few places in the last 13 days.

“Kevlavik, Iceland; Moscow, Russia; Bucharest, Romania; Istanbul, Turkey; Nice, France; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Saint-Tropez, France; Rome, Italy; Milan, Italy; Dubai, UAE; Cairo, Egypt; Shannon, Ireland.”
