Dubai: The final two teams have advanced to the last four of the UAE High School Basketball Championship.

UAS and GWA through to basketball semis
Last-four encounters and final of high-school event on Friday and Saturday
In the first of the day’s double-header last Friday, New Indian Model School (NIMS) squared off against Gems World Academy (GWA), who won 62-41.
In the second game, International School of Choueifat (ISC) played out a tense game against the Universal American School (UAS), who prevailed 54-46.
The semi-finals and championship game will be played on Friday and Saturday respectively at Al Wasl Sports Club.
In the first semi, GWA will take on Emirates International School (EIS) at 3pm. Lycee Georges Pompidou (LGP) will then play Universal American School (UAS) at 4.15pm.
The final will take place at 1.45pm on Saturday.
