Our Own English High School, Dubai will take on The Indian High School, Dubai in the final of the CBSE-UAE cluster inter school basketball tournament for girls being played at Sharjah Indian School's basketball court.
Our Own won the tough semifinal match against tournament favourites Emirates English Speaking School, Dubai.
Our Own took an early lead of six points which were later equalised by the Emirates girls through two three pointers.
The leads favoured both the teams and at half time Emirates were leading 15 points against 14.
Our Own played a tight zone defence and their skipper Roshni D'souza and Rhea combined well to steer their team to a six point victory.
In the other semifinal, Indian High School, Dubai registered an easy 63-11 victory over Sharjah Indian School.
