Dubai: Tickets for the Harlem Globetrotters have already gone on sale at various venues in Dubai.
The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters are returning to Dubai for a four-game basketball show to be staged at Al Nasr Club from April 5-8.
"The Harlem Globetrotters have an ardent following despite returning to Dubai after 15 years," stated Eric Gottschalk, general manager of Delwood Consultancy, the organisers of the show.
"Anyone who buys tickets from any of these four venues will receive a special invitation to attend the Harlem Globetrotters University," Gottschalk stated.
The Harlem Globetrotters University is an exclusive session with members of the team half an hour before the start of their show.
The Harlem Globetrotters' Dubai stop is to mark their 80th Anniversary World Tour.
The Harlem Globetrotters basketball team was founded in 1926 and has been named the most popular and exciting professional entertainment team in the world.
The squad has performed in over 118 countries in front of over 123 million spectators. And their record of over 25,800 games and 25,500 wins makes them the most successful professional team of any sport. Tickets for general admission have been priced at Dh50, 65 and 95 while courtside VIP seats will cost between Dh200 and 250. Shows start at 8pm. Tickets will be available at Wild Wadi, Planet Hollywood, Go Sport outlet (at Ibn Battuta Mall) and Sezzam Restaurant (at the foot of the Ski Dubai slope), Kempinski Hotel, Virgin Megastore, Time Out ticket hotline (800 4669) and online from www.boxofficeme.com.
