Delhi Public School boys and girls sweep basketball titles in Muscat
The Delhi Private School (DPS), Sharjah, recorded a clean sweep of both the boys and girls titles in the International Inter-School Basketball Tournament held in connection with the International Sports Fest in Muscat.

Sharjah: The Delhi Private School (DPS), Sharjah, recorded a clean sweep of both the boys and girls titles in the International Inter-School Basketball Tournament held in connection with the International Sports Fest in Muscat.
This tournament was organised by the Indian School, Muscat.
The DPS boys team, which displayed brilliant form earlier this season, showed their authority in Muscat too.
They stopped last year's winner and hosts Indian School, Muscat, in front of the rival's home crowd 70-60 in the final.
In the semifinal, they beat Yugantar Public School, a Sports Authority of India Sports Hostel team from Chattishgarh, India, by 59-45.
The girls' team too performed brilliantly. In the final they scored an emphatic victory over last year's winner Indian High School, Dubai, 55-29.
DPS Sharjah girls had also trounced hosts Indian School, Muscat, 59-6 in the semifinal.
DPS Sharjah, which has an excellent basketball court on the school premises, has been encouraging players through regular coaching.
Recently, they also hosted the third edition of the DPS inter-school basketball in their premises.
