Oakland, California: Golden State’s Stephen Curry scored a season-high 51 points and made a season-best 10 3-pointers, rallying the Warriors from an early 22-point deficit to beat Dallas Mavericks 128-114 on Wednesday and maintain their overall NBA lead.

The Warriors’ winning percentage remained just ahead of Atlanta, who immediately returned to winning ways after a rare loss, beating Washington.

Among other key results, Houston beat Chicago, but made up no ground on Southwest leader Memphis who won at Utah to extend their winning streak to eight straight.

Golden State’s Curry connected on 10 of 16 shots from beyond the arc and 16 of 26 overall. The All-Star point guard and MVP candidate put on a dazzling dribbling display to match his shooting, helping the Warriors come from 22 points down to win their biggest comeback of the season.

Chandler Parsons scored 24 points in a disappointing defeat for Dallas, who played without injured point guard Rajon Rondo again.

The Mavericks led 40-18 in the first quarter but could not resist a Warriors team that improved to 23-2 at home this season.

Atlanta responded to their first loss in more than a month by defeating Washington 105-96.

Jeff Teague scored 26 points and Al Horford added 21 for the Hawks, who had won 19 straight before losing at New Orleans.

Atlanta overcame a dismal third quarter to beat the Wizards for the third straight time this season.

John Wall had 24 points for the Wizards, who are on a season-worst four-game skid.

Houston’s James Harden had 27 points to lead the Rockets to a 101-90 victory over Chicago.

Harden scored 15 points in the second quarter to help the Rockets build an unbeatable lead.

Chicago’s Derrick Rose scored 23 points, playing a 12th consecutive game for the first time in four years.

Memphis remained three games clear of the Bulls atop the Southwest by winning 100-90 at Utah.

Zach Randolph had 18 points and 11 rebounds while Marc Gasol had 23 points for the Grizzlies.

Trey Burke led the Jazz with 21 points.

Brooklyn handed Toronto their first loss in 10 games against Atlantic Division opponents this season by winning 109-93 in Canada.

Jarrett Jack scored 24 points and Alan Anderson had 22 for the Nets, who had lost their previous three road games.

Terrence Ross scored 23 points for the Raptors.

Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook tied his career high with 45 points to more than make up for the absence of Kevin Durant, leading the Thunder to a 102-91 win against New Orleans.

Westbrook had 25 first-half points, including a career best for a quarter with 19 in the first.

Durant sat out for the fourth time in five games because of a toe injury.

Anthony Davis led New Orleans with 23 points and eight rebounds.

San Antonio beat Orlando 110-103 to send the Magic to its 10th successive loss and its seventh in a row against the Spurs.

Milwaukee extended their run of wins to five by beating the Los Angeles Lakers 113-105 after overtime.

Indiana’s George Hill had 20 points and six assists in his return to the Pacers’ starting lineup after yet another injury, helping the team beat Detroit 114-109.

Boston’s Jared Sullinger was benched after showing up late to the morning warm-up, but made two free throws with 22.8 seconds left to break a tie and help the Celtics edge Denver 104-100.

Minnesota came from 10 points down in the final quarter to pip Miami 102-101.
