Al Maqsood shines as NIMS Sharjah thrash Our Own Dubai

Sharjah: Hosts NIMS Sharjah ‘A' team defeated Our Own Indian School, Dubai 70-22 and Indian High School, Dubai defeated NIMS Dubai 66-13 on the second day of the 20th NIMS Sharjah Trophy Inter School Basketball Tournament being held at NIMS Sharjah.

Abdullah Al Maqsood top-scored for NIMS with 21 points followed by Samir 10 points and Emran 10 points. Terry Michael 21 points and Siddarth 20 points were the top scorers for Indian High School, Dubai.

Delhi Private School, Sharjah entered the semifinals after defeating the host school's B team 56-20 and Global English School, Al Ain 59-6. Kenneth top scored with 14 points and Aashish Dugar netted 13 points against NIMS ‘B' team.

Davies Alex Daniel excelled with 14 points and Shalok Berry scored 12 points against Global English School, Al Ain.

NIMS Sharjah Yellows defeated Our Own Indian School, Al Qoz 46-32. NIMS led 20-10 in the first half. Jassim excelled for NIMS yellows with 15 points while Keith top scored for Our Own Indian with 19 points.

DPS, Sharjah: 59 (Davies 14, Shalok 12, Aashish 10, Adeeb 9, Harsh 8, Advait 4, Abraham 2) beat Global English School, Al Ain: 6 (Edris Miri Mohammad 4, Gabriel 2)

Indian High School, Dubai: 66 (Terry Michael 21, Siddharth 20, Aniket 12, Jaison 6, Sagar 2, Yash 3, Mitesh 2) beat NIMS Dubai 13 points (Kurian Kuruvila 7, Vikash Kumar 2, Mohammad Sahad 2, Mohammad Abdul Wasir 2).

NIMS Sharjah ‘A': 70 (Abdullah Al Maqsud 21, Mohammad Emran 10, Samir Mohammad 10, Mohammad Abdul Rahman 8, Mirsab 6, Al Shab 4, Abbas 3, Ansar 3, Hashir 3, Nadir 2) beat Our Own Indian School, Al Quoz: 22 (Keith Corda 10, Usman 3, Nohan 2, Rizwan 2, Manu 2, Dodson 2, Tom Antony 1).
