Los Angeles: Cody Bellinger hit a go-ahead, three-run home run with one out in the eighth inning, lifting the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 6-4 win against the Minnesota Twins on Monday night.

Minnesota led 4-3 before Bellinger hit the 28th home run of his rookie season off a 0-2 pitch from left-hander Taylor Rogers (5-2). Chris Taylor and Justin Turner singled before Bellinger’s latest homer soared over the centrefield fence.

Meanwhile, Giancarlo Stanton homered twice to lead the Miami to a 4-0 victory over Texas.

Stanton recorded his 25th career multi-homer game, his seventh this season, and he tied New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge for the major league lead with 32 homers. He hit a solo homer in the first inning off Texas starter Martin Perez and homered in the eighth against Jeremy Jeffress.
