New York: Clayton Kershaw tied a career-high by allowing four homers but became the National League’s first 10-game winner as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the New York Mets 10-6 on Monday.

Kershaw improved to 10-2 despite allowing six runs and six hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out 10 but the Dodgers provided enough offence.

Rookie Cody Bellinger homered twice and drove in four runs. He became the fastest player to hit 21 homers in major league history, doing so in just 51 games.

Justin Turner and Chris Taylor also homered as Los Angeles won for the 10th time in 11 games.

Jose Reyes homered twice, Gavin Cecchini hit his first career homer and Jay Bruce hit a solo shot off Kershaw.
