Dubai: A total of Dh360,000 of prize money was handed out during the CBD Youth Athletics Championships to help improve sports facilities at schools in the city.
The winners in each of four categories were handed Dh40,000, while second place took Dh30,000 and third place Dh20,000. The event was organised by the Commercial Bank of Dubai and Dubai Sports Council. Dubai High School won the under-17 boys event, Al Muhalab School won the under-15 boys, the girls under-15 title went to The German School and Abu Hanifa Public School won the boys under-12 title.
