Beijing: Usain Bolt was knocked off when a cameraman riding a segway run him over from behind following the star sprinter's 200m gold medal victory lap at the World Championship.

Fans posted Youtube clips showing the Jamaican track superstar tumbling to the ground along with the Segway man.

Bolt was in the midst of his 20-minute long victory lap in Beijing, celebrating his historic fourth 200-meter victory in a row when the incident took place.

As he jogged near the camera track, the photographer -- who apparently didn’t see Bolt -- ran into that track.

After the encounter, Bolt got up holding his leg around his Achilles, causing fans to hold their collective breath.

He seemed fine and continued jogging around the track, taking pictures with the crowd.

Bolt showed a cut on his leg afterward but said he had no worries that he’d be affected by the injury.

“Oh, took me out like! Bro!” Bolt said when he saw the video for the first time.

Fans took to social media lambasted the cameraman on the Segway as an "uncool dude".

Bolt must be mighty lucky all he received in the smash-up was a cut leg. He will try once more to make history next summer in Rio.
