Dubai: The ruling family of Dubai flew to Bahrain over the weekend, with one photo in particular circulating rapidly over social media.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took the time to share a moment with the grandchildren of Bahrain's King.
The photo was posted on the Instagram account of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, and has received over 100,000 likes in 17 hours.
The Vice President of the UAE visited Bahrain to attend the Endurance Cup, with His Majesty King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
The 120km Bahrain Endurance Cup was organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, and saw the participation of tens of riders vying for the trophy.
On the sidelines of the race, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid also met the President of the Olympic Committee and the Endurance Team Captain Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
A video posted on the prince’s Instagram account shows his children riding on horses and greeting Dubai’s Shaikh Hamdan.
