American hip-hop star Rick Ross may have abruptly cancelled his date with Dubai last September, but he promises to keep his word this time around.
On October 4, the hip-hop heavyweight will perform for the first time in the Middle East at a concert at Al Badia Golf Course at Dubai Festival City.
The former Florida correctional officer, 37, will show Dubai music fans how it’s done with hits including You The Boss and his collaboration with Drake, Aston Martin Music.
The heavily-tattooed rapper, whose signature style includes gigantic shades and bling accessories, has had a controversial year, surviving an attack on his life when bullets were sprayed at his Rolls Royce and being dropped by Reebok after lyrics in which he advocates date rape.
