Reader Colachel Ibrahim, who works as a security supervisor in Jebel Ali took this picture on his weekend at Deira Creek. He said: “I am very interested in photojournalism and my DSLR camera is very precious to me. As I don’t drive, every weekend i pack my bag with my lenses and go around Dubai taking pictures from the Metro, while walking and sometimes through the bus, too. On Friday while I was at Deira Creek I saw residents feeding seagulls. The way the birds gathered around them was mesmerising. It was evident that both the residents and the birds were having a great time. One of the residents told me that he came there every weekend and I could join him if I wanted. It was a feel good moment and a feel good picture.” Seagulls are the migrating wild birds that come to the UAE shores every winter from Siberia and the Mediterranean.
