Gulf News reader Hareb sent in a picture of the busy Floating Bridge with a backdrop of the iconic buildings of Shaikh Zayed Road, Dubai. He said: “I was at shopping at a mall. I just looked out of the window and I was surprised to get this view. It was a like a thumbnail image of Dubai for me, busy yet beautiful. It looked like everyone out there was there for a purpose. I could see people going back after a long day at work. I could see families with children enjoying the evening. I could see the Creek and the Burj Khalifa. This picture for me is the perfect image of Dubai.”
