Our children are our most precious asset, and their safety at all times is paramount — we all have a moral and legal obligation to ensure their well-being.
Sadly though, there are elements within society who seek to take advantage of children, exploiting them, taking away their innocence, subjecting them to abuse and fear. These elements in society are sick, depraved and corrupt. And they must be held legally accountable. Law enforcement and government officials are doing everything in their power to ensure our children are protected from those who would prey on their tender years. But their efforts are not enough. Only working together with parents and guardians, can the best safety net be applied to provide a comforting and caring shield over our children.
All too often, however, children are left to surf the internet with little parental control or oversight. This cannot be allowed to happen. The internet is a dangerous place where elements lurk in dark cyber corners, waiting to entice and entrap children.
Sadly, for all of its information, the internet contains websites that exploit the innocence of children, satisfying the sick needs of the depraved and twisted.
Every time your child surfs, make sure you know where they have been.
