Dubai Police launches e-services

The Dubai Police e-government services were launched by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence. Shaikh Mohammad will also meet the work force behind the Dubai Police ‘Online College of Total Quality’ proposal and examine its scope for development. He ordered the Prosecution Department to prepare a draft law to legalise e-signatures in Dubai. “The e-government services do not only aim at reducing government cost but making things easier for the public,” said Dubai Police Chief Major General Dahi Khalfan Tamim. Director of Dubai Police’s Total Quality Management Dr Mansoor Alawar, said the Online College of Total Quality would offer academic and training courses at university level in the police and government sector. The college targets UAE local and federal government employees as well as the staff of GCC countries and that of other Arab governments.
