The first batch of Dubai Police College graduates were presented with their certificates by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister for Finance and Industry at a colourful passing out ceremony at college ground. The ceremony was also attended by Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Minister for Defence and Chairman of Dubai Police, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates, Brigadier Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. Shaikh Hamdan was presented an honour guard by the police cadets, while a march past in quick and slow time by the students were other features of the well-attended and impressive ceremony. In his speech, Colonel Ismail Gargawi, Assistant Commander for Dubai Police College and Training, paid tribute to the new graduates and said that the graduation ceremony was a landmark event in the effort to enhance the safety and security of the country and its people.
