Abu Dhabi: The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has issued an urgent call for construction sector companies and personnel to take additional care in light of rough weather on Wednesday.
A statement by the Environment, Health and Safety division called for an urgent stop of lifting operations using towers and mobile cranes, working at heights and the movement of heavy vehicles and equipment.
All project supervisors are warned to ensure that the directives are adhered to, in order to prevent accidents, human injuries and property damage.
The capital has seen extensive property damage during today's rainstorm, including uprooted road signs, broken windows and uprooted trees.
